Artemoor, Goddess of the Hunt
Patron of Hunters
Although she is named 'Goddess of the Hunt', Artemoor's role in the balance of the realms goes much deeper. She is responsible for the balance of life in regards to nature, ensuring that the ebb and flow of predators and prey is stable and condusive to the wider ecosystem. She imparted the rush of adreneline that all creatures feel when hunting or being hunted, and relishes this feeling herself. She does however believe in restraint and respect with regards to the hunt, and expects all beings - particularly her followers - to believe the same.
Her attitude towards the beings of Uurf is fairly benevolent. She respects those who are dedicated to the hunt, and recognises hunter-esque traits in others even if they are not hunters themselves. The tenacity of chasing what you want, providing for those you care about, and showing empathy towards your enemies are traits that Artemoor finds favourable. She understands the chaotic nature of Uurphasians, and while many do not follow her creed, she bears little ill will towards them, in spite of their percieved role in The Schism
The sprawling hunting grounds in the plane of Byzantium are where she spends most of her time, often adopting her aspect form of a panther to stalk her prey. While she did enjoy having easy access to the realms, Byzantium satiates her desire to hunt, with occasional excursions to some of the neighbouring realms when she feels the need.
