House Burath
The Eastern Sojourn Powerhouse
House Burath is a great house composed of mostly humans, located in eastern Sojourn. They believe that they are the ones most able to lead the country as a whole, using diplomacy at times to form alliances or simply fighting for territorial expansion. Their diplomacy tends to have mixed results, as they often try to position themselves as decision makers in coalitions, but they have been able to play nice for some extended periods of time. The Burath family like to think of themselves as tolerant, but in reality most of their people look down on non-humans, alienating those who would join their cause and simply bringing misery to the handful of non-humans in their ranks.
They have most contention with their northern neighbours House Cainen, as they are equally tenacious in their desire for conquest. Many skirmishes over the years has lead to a lot of resentment between the two houses.
