Leveling Up

In Vainglory, each time you level up, you get to learn additional Feats, spend Skill Points, and sometimes learn a new Proficiency. There are tables below showing exactly what you get on which levels for your character and your Companion.

To Sum Up

When you level up, you receive 1 Skill Point to distribute wherever you would like amongst Knowledge, Wit, Might, Agility, and Fortitude. You can't raise any of these stats above 5.
  • Companions also receive 1 Skill Point with the same guidelines, but cannot put it into Knowledge.
  •   When you level up, you can gain 1 Feat OR 1 Enhancement (to a Feat you already have). All non-Novice Feats have pre-requirements that must be met before taking them.
  • This does not apply to Companions.
  •   Every other level, starting at Level 2, you may choose 1 new Proficiency. This Proficiency may be a Skill Proficiency, a Weapon Proficiency, or a Tool Proficiency.
  • Companions will gain a Skill Proficiency that makes sense for their level of intelligence.
  •   Every other level, starting at level 3, your Martial Die will increase by 1 die size.   Once at Level 5 and again at Level 10, you'll be able to choose a new Physical Feature to further enhance your character's physical skillset.   Note that your character's and Companion's levels do not determine the types of maneuvers they can do together; that's determined by their Trust.
