Cara Greyboot

Founder and Leader of The Jade Hand Cara, was born in the town of Greensward. She grew up during the 1st Galmere War. Fortunate enough to never be involved in any of those attacks directly, the aftermath was enough to force her hand. Many of the lords of the land were too busy lining their pockets or selling arms to the Kingdom of Galmere to notice the needs of the people calling out in pain. Cara heard these calls and answered the only way she knew how.
Most of her younger years were spent stealing from the rich and corrupt, then distributing them to those in need. During the War her aggression was easily covered up as likely the act of saboteurs. During the years of relative safety formed a fraternity of like minded people. 15 years after the war ended she was still on the loose until a particularly fiendish nobleman Wort Vent was able to lay a trap for her. She was imprisoned for a grand total of 12 days, before the newly formed Jade Hand arose to bust her out.
Her later years have been in establishing the network of eyes and ears within the Jade hand, including an establishment (the Sweltering Pig ) to act as a front for their activities. Maintaining a very active role within the Jade Hand but opting to leave the thieving to more spry hands.
Sister Sara was once of a member of The Jade Hand and like a daughter to Cara.  When Sara died she promised to look out for Araz in her stead.  This was mostly in the form of care packages sent to the far reaches of the kingdom, didn't matter how small the settlement was.  At the party after the Rescue of Novah and Viola she reveals this to Araz and scolds him for not reaching out to her sooner.  She also remarks on the quality of his choice in companions.
