Towerfall Festival
A festival held in Farronvue to celebrate the falling of Farron Tower during the Galmere Civil war. It's a festival of second-borns and Amazons, as it was that Persian second-born alongside Amazonian warriors ended the 1st Galmere War. During the Festival a large tower of wood is constructed and set ablaze as night falls. Music, fireworks, peddling, partying, frankly just a great time is had by all and draws people from all parts of the region. Amazonians while usually remote have been known to attend the party in great abundance. The festivities stretch the whole of evening into the next day.
Competitions representing the supposed three virtues of Amazonian mating trials are held to select three torch bearers in the lighting of the tower. An Amazon, Xanthe, offers a prayer of battle and the party officially begins and continues until the flames fade.
