Beholder

The beholder resembles a floating eyeball with many smaller eyestalks protruding from its spherical body. Exuding powerful magic, they are intelligent, arrogant, self cantered, and almost always malevolent. Stay in a beholder's good books if you're ever unfortunate enough to encounter one, and if you make one angry your affairs better be in order.
