Sentient Species

Other sentient species populate Valine, though rarely do some of them find themselves as the hero of a Valinian story. These tend to be the species that are sentient but perhaps not to the same level as other species - self-aware, but primitive, perhaps - or the species that hold themselves above the day-to-day affairs of Valine, rarely involving themselves in the affairs of the realms and kingdoms of Valine. Nonetheless they can be helpful allies or dangerous adversaries.
