Crystal Balrog

While balrogs burn with unbridled hatred these fusions of demon and construct operate with a calculated, cool logic that makes them even more dangerous. Smaller than a typical balrog due to being fused with hard crystal as an adolescent demon that contains their fire, their crystalline exoskeleton guards them against damage but is also their greatest weakness. When the crystal exterior is cracked, the fire, long contained within a crystal balrog, consumes them in a burst of destructive energy that consumes everything within a 15 foot radius.
