Appointment

Mithlerien: Appointed by the Crown. Rank conferred in public ceremony by the current ruler.

Duties

Mithlerien : The Delegate administers a Fiefdom within the Kingdom that has not been granted a royal hereditary title. They usually facilitate between a council of locals and the crown, and their degree of authority is discretionary, but they ultimately carry the authority of the crown.

Responsibilities

Mithlerien : The Delegate is primarily an administrator and bureaucrat and their tasks are primarily centered on bureaucratic order, chairing meetings and amicably settling disputes brought by the local council. The Delegate is also responsible for such tasks as regular census taking and collection of taxes for the crown.

Accoutrements & Equipment

Mithlerien: Delegates are assigned a chain of office that carries the royal crest of Mithlerien and the crest of the fiefdom to which they are assigned.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Mithlerien: The Delegate serves at the pleasure of the crown, and can only be removed by royal decree.
