The Cloak of Shadows (a.k.a. Aberration Prime)

Offspring of Ades the Mad and a mortal weretouched, Guhvian is the first aberration that appeared on Valine. Upon birthing the monstrosity, Guhvian's mother was turned inside out and incorporated into her child. All subsequent aberrations in Valine have a tiny amount of Guhvian's essence within them, scattered throughout Valine as Guhvian flew around, explored and spawned other progeny.
Guhvian's first offspring were the cloakers - the oldest aberrant species in Valine - created in Guhvian's own image, though smaller. The rapid evolution of aberrant species saw their number of variants grow exponentially but the low birthrate of aberrations also means they are few in number, comparatively to the other species and tend to hide themselves away else they be overrun and killed by sheer weight of numbers.
Guhvian has taught his offspring's ancestors to lurk in the dark places of the world, to grow their numbers in patience and in silence, making a move to control an area only when the odds are in their favor. Where the demigod himself lurks is unknown, though rumors from the Undervale speak of a menacing beast that lurks in the shadows of immense caverns and waits, silent and still, for the creatures of the Undervale to pass by and provide a meal.
