Human
Impulsive, rash, destructive and all in such a short lifespan. But look what they create!"
Conquest and trade are the foundations on which humans construct their magnificent empires. Whatever motivates them, they are the world's dreamers, achievers, and pioneers.
Humans are more physically varied than other common species and have a proclivity for migration and conquering. There is no such thing as a typical human. A person's height might range from 5 to 7 feet, and their weight can range from 125 to 300 pounds or more. Human skin tones range from almost black to extremely light, with hair hues ranging from black to blond (curly, kinky, or straight) and sparse or dense facial hair in males. Many humans contain a trace of nonhuman blood, indicating elf , orc, or other ancestors. Humans seldom survive more than a century after reaching maturity in their late teens.
Among the common races, humans are the most adaptive and ambitious. In the numerous diverse nations where they have settled, they have a vast range of preferences, morals, and customs. When they settle, though, they create cities that will survive for decades and huge kingdoms that will remain for generations. A single human life may be brief, yet a human country or culture retains traditions that date back long beyond the scope of any single human's memory. They live in the moment, which makes them ideal for adventure, but they also prepare for the future, hoping to leave a lasting legacy. Humans are adaptive opportunists, both individually and collectively, and they remain vigilant to shifting political and social forces.
Whereas a single elf or dwarf may be tasked with protecting a particular spot or a potent secret, humans created hallowed orders and institutions to do so. Human temples, governments, libraries, and codes of law anchor their traditions in the bedrock of history, while dwarf tribes and halfling elders pass on old customs to each new generation. Humans want immortality, but (with the exception of a few who seek undeath or divine ascension to avoid death's grasp), they attain it by guaranteeing that they will be remembered when they pass away. Although some people are xenophobic, their civilizations are generally welcoming.
The most daring and ambitious members of a daring and ambitious race are those who seek adventure. They strive for glory in the eyes of their peers by accumulating power, riches, and notoriety. Humans, more than any other species, promote causes over regions or groups.
Humans mix with members of other races just as easily as they do with each other. They get along with virtually everyone, even if they aren't very close to many of them. Humans work as ambassadors, diplomats, magistrates, merchants, and other types of officials.
Humans as a whole have no conventional names since they have so much more variation than other cultures. Some human parents name their children using languages other than their own, such as Dwarvish or Elvish (pronounce it correctly), although most parents name their children after their region's culture or their ancestors' naming customs.
Human material culture varies greatly from one location to the next. Human physical traits vary according to the ancient migrations of the first people, and they have every hue and feature imaginable.
Basic Information
Biological Traits
Making generalizations about humans is nearly impossible, however the six broadly recognized ethnicities of humankind have some common physical characteristics. Cleossain tend to be shorter and slighter in build than other humans, with dusky brown skin, hair, and eyes. Briarraroti are slender, tawny-skinned folk with brown hair that ranges from almost blond to almost black. Most are tall and have green or brown eyes. Iosseoan are of moderate height and build, with skin hues ranging from tawny to fair. Their hair is usually brown or black, and their eye color varies widely, though brown is most common. Eaqalaans are tall, fair-skinned folk with blue or steely gray eyes. Most have raven-black hair, but those who inhabit the extreme southern islands have blond, red, or light brown hair. Imirusonians are yellowish-bronze in hue, with black hair and dark eyes. The Feacadian people are generally tall and muscular, with dark mahogany skin, curly black hair, and dark eyes.
