Locathah
These tough and honorable fish-folk have survived war, slavery, and abuse at the hands of other aquatic lineages. Around coastal areas and seacaves, they live in submerged tribal settlements and engage in both above- and below-water hunting.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Somewhat akin to anglerfish, locathah have a large fish-like head and mouth, with a glowing lure on top that serves both to attract prey, and provide a light source in the dim cavernous areas and underwater villages in which they reside. They have bipedal, humanoid bodies with short, thick arms ending in webbed hands. As amphibious creatures able to breathe both above and under water, locathah have both gills and lungs.
Civilization and Culture
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Communication underwater can be challenging, but locathah use a combination of body language, vocalizations, and bioluminescence to communicate with each other.
