Lourtara Massif
Récif's highest peak, at 9,449 feet above sea level, is located in the Lourtara Massif region in the island's north end. A natural harbor has formed near the island's northernmost tip, while to the west lies the Trosonee Haven island, which is a piece of the Massif range that has risen above sea level following the Massif's partial submersion. Due to the difficulty of traveling northern waters becasue of the reefs created by the Massif peaks immediately below sea level, a port in the island's north is unlikely to be established in the near future. Only smaller vessels are able to dock in the natural harbor.
