Saratau

Saratau is a town and port located on the Saratau Strait. It is tucked at the mouth of the winding Saratau River. Phichitchamroon, the Tuatian ruler, sought refuge in the little fishing village in 890 after fleeing the warriors of a neighboring state. He established a new kingdom there, which grew in strength until it ruled the entire peninsula. Traders came to restock their food supplies and gather water from the nearby hill springs and springs, establishing the port as a vital stop for travelers and merchants. The Phichit Dynasty of Saratau still reigns in the territory surrounding it, but the Eaqalaan island colonies to the south and west have besieged the region with halfling armies intent on destroying it.
