Eaqaal

The smallest, most fragmented of the continents, Eaqaal consists of a single, relatively small, landmass running north of the equator and stretches all the way down to distant islands near the southern polar region. Mostly separated from each other, by sizeable sea journeys, Eaqaal is a diverse continent. Most of the human population, what others think of as the Eaqalaan ethnicity of humans , occupy the southern islands. Other notable ethnicities are listed in the sidebar. The largest landmass is a tropical paradise, rich in exotic fruits, herbs and spices that remain in demand all over Valine. Several of the world's richest ports are scattered throughout Eaqaal. Some of the tallest mountains on the planet run in an east-west route, hugging the southern coastline of Eaqaal's largest landmass - and they house the largest remaining conclave of metallic dragons on Valine. The largest conclave of chromatic dragons also resides on Valine, in the smaller, but still impressive mountain range splitting the large island to the south of the continent. To the west, the islands of Eaqaal come close to the shores of the vast continent of Fea, and the majority of trade runs through those islands to the large landmass and thence on to other shores.
