Floating Segments
The bridge is made of 40 shorter buoyant platforms, consisting of wooden planks laid over empty grass barrels. These platforms are then tied end-to-end with different types of rope to connect the peninsula with the base of Salt Place. In the event of an emergency, its floating parts can be unmoored and curled like a snake; hence the name.Entries
Tourism
Not as well maintained as the grass and stone dikes; it is the most profitable since it shortens the distance merchants need to travel.
So much so that complaints of the traffic loads are undermining its usefulness to separate out the salty waters.Fisherfolk also setup poles and fishing nets on the bridge edges as an easier means of fishing the middle of the lakes.
