The Buyer

The chicken guides you into the yurt. It reeks of a pungent scent of incense, and the walls are painted with glowing arcane runes. A brass brazier burns brightly at the center of the floor, around which are set a few plush chairs, a bed, and a large stone chest. On one of those chairs sits a shadowy figure in expensive wrappings reading a book. The chicken struts its way over to the figure, and makes a deep cluck.

Description

A strange and shadowy figure in expensive wrappings. Shorter than their personality would have you believe. Their personality is the definition of uncomfortable and unnerving. It is very clear the are not human... Or any other race for that matter. All that is seen of them is the shadow over their face, and their bright white, glowing eyes.

Biography

The Buyer has made a home for themself at Yoichinoko Village, claiming that they've been there since it was first created.
They are a currator of all valuable things, from time, to money, to the eternal servitude of a woman who wanted to save her daughter (The Buyer keeps her as a pet chicken).
They seem to hold no malice in their body language taking no offense to direct insults. Oddly enough, they act as if they enjoy it.
Despite their strangeness, they provide a useful service: a stone chest in their yurt has the magical capability to teleport objects on command
