Blight Zone

Areas in the word of Valnoagawa that have been infested by the Blight to an incurable level. These locations are extremely deadly and the home of the some of the most terrifying creatures known to exist, the Bleak. Passing through these zones is almost certain death for all living creatures as travelers become infested with the Blight, without fail and it spares no single individual. Each time a new zone is discovered, it marked on a central map that is used to chart each zone and try to determine if there is an ultimate pattern for the appearance of one. So far, no distinct pattern has been uncovered and the discovery of a cause has continued to elude the Kratocracy Empire and all known political powers currently tracking them.

Manifestation

Areas that fall within the control of the Blight have dulling of the colors and vibrancy of the area. These zones range in size from several feet to several miles across. A necrotic energy hangs in the air and slowly wears on the very body of creatures that spend more time in it until become infected.
