Creator - Vergar

Vergar demand that all positions in society have a purpose.  Vergar scientists are therefore part of a pragmatic system in which they are not allowed to discover just for the sake of discovering, at least not officially. Every Vergar scientist is ostensibly testing hypotheses for the purpose of creating new technology to aid the empire.  
In truth, there are Vergar who are curious and do not fit into normal Vergar society because their personal motivation is driven by the question, "Why?"  These Vergar are usually able to hide this impulse from others by creating objects and new inventions which aid the empire in some way, even if it is minor.  Most creators are looked down on and not held in high regard. 
This profession is usually under the bureaucratic auspices of the mining guild due to the historical relationship with metallurgists, refiners, weapon smiths, and other types of smithies.
