Imir

The Vergar Empire - Imir is named for the deity they believe created all life.
Imir is the sibling of Fel and Delon.  The religion of Imir teaches that these entities (Fel and Delon) are either demons or false gods created by other cultures in order to lead people from the worship of Imir. 
Although Imir created everything, he is most directly responsible for mountains, seas, the deep places of Straoheim and the direct creation of the Vergar.  All other races are dealt with in a lengthy creation mythos which places other peoples on a similar level to sentient animals.   The Vergar see themselves as having a special place in creation.   
Imir punishes those who oppose him with flooding, thunder and lightning, earthquakes, and famine.   The blessings of the earth are seen as a gift from Imir and as such the Vergar encourage other races to participate in harvest festivals.
