And the events of the Duelist trailer. Sage, but not Phoenix, seems to understand at least a little about the Spike and potentially that she's come from Mirror Earth.   Either this is the first time a planted Spike detonated, and it's what rose Venice, it wasn't the first (or last) time a planted Spike detonated but it's still what rose Venice (what was different about this time), or something else happened to rise Venice.
