Bloodbane Weapon

The Bloodbane Clan of white dragonborn heroes have written their names into the history of Valoria for centuries. Worthy descendants of the clan who perform an act of self-sacrifice have been rewarded with the creation of a runic weapon which is unique to each individual hero of the clan. As the wielder becomes attuned to the weapon and uses it to protect and defend others more runes manifest themselves on the weapon, each one providing a unique magical ability to the weapon.

Arveer Bloodbane a member of the Fate Bound created his Bloodbane Sword as he sacrificed a portion of his own constitution to free four innocent children from certain death deep under the town of Little Ferry. 

Attuning himself to the weapon, Arveer  has learned that it is magical and that he can as a reaction use it to parry blows as per the Battle Master maneuver with the following changes:

Parry
When another creature damages you with a melee attack or damages an ally within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by the number you roll on your superiority die + your Dexterity modifier. This does not expend a use of your superiority dice.
