East Silverwood

East Silverwood is a younger forest than West Silverwood, though it is comprised of the same types of trees. It has far fewer trees that contain the silver ichor than its sister, but the wood is denser and covers a wider area. The lack of underbrush in the forest makes visibility day and night nearly unrestricted.   The forest only has only one maintained road going through it, which follows the coast from Felhook all the way north to Ghlacadh.   While the forest is young, the Iaak believe it to contain an ancient evil that originates west of the road. Where the evil originates from, and why it hasn't left the forest, is unknown. Several merchants and travelers have reported twisted creatures (half human, half animal-experiment-gone-wrong) that attack those who stray too far from the road. Their proclivity to act defensively suggests command from a much stronger, or at least intelligent, creature. Whatever that creature is, should it exist, has never made itself known.   On the other side of the forest, by the Shortridge Mountains where East Silverwood touches the Fields of Eclipse, undead are occasionally spotted. The timing of these sighting tends to coincide with the cyclical shadows of the fields caused by the Skyfire, but the two aren't verifiably linked.
