Horero

Horero is populated by those Cairn who failed to endure the Ritual of Flame in Caiir. By extension, it is a town of bitter people who feel abandoned by their families - though the Cairn of Caiir would suggest they were let down by theirs.
Despite this animosity, the townfolk of Horero aren't without purpose; many of them learn of the efforts at Tomokan and study arcane and occult textbooks in an effort to eventually be able to provide assistance. This does make the town very accepting of outsiders - particularly those with magical capability.
The town doesn't offer anything more than bartering with locals, as most of them are self-sufficient and somewhat isolationist from one another. Still, should a common threat arise, they are more than willing to take up arms together.
Cairn who have passed the Ritual of the Flame will find no kindness in Horero.
