Karrakir Indala

Countess Karrakir Indala is an Iaak from the Dhacha Region of Astagua. They have been its leader since before Unification, though the secrecy of the Iaak history precludes knowing exactly when they were appointed its ruler.
In the days following Unification, Karrakir mandated that each settlement in Dhacha send people to assist their new countrymen in the war effort; almost every Iaak that contributed did so via magical means, either as battlemages or clerics. The most famous of their contributions to the war was turning Felhook into a massive field hospital for wounded personnel; fascinatingly, even the least-trained of the Iaak posessed the ability to teleport the most gravely wounded to Dhacha -- the details of how, exactly, remain a secret.
Since the war, Karrakir's involvement with Astagua has been significantly muted; that's not to say they haven't been concerned or communicative with the rest of the Council, just that the matters most seriously effecting Dhacha have largely remained there. To Karrakir, those matters are private and The Unified Council isn't trustworthy enough to be involved.
As a whole, Karrakir is fair and firm and shockingly tall to most people and treats most people they meet as their equal.
Though highly selective in sharing matters of their people, they are forthcoming about immediate threats and problems - at least, those things they agree are problematic.
