Tel Quessith

Tel Quessith is a mountainside fortress city founded by exiled Tieflings in the mountains on the north coast of Vandrius. The city was founded as a monastery as the tieflings aimed to overcome their demonic nature. High in these peaks, the monks of Tel Quessith nurtured a bond with the wyverns that live here, and have come to be renowned for their skilled wyvern riding knights.
Over the generations, more and more tieflings have come to resent the "puritan" values espoused by the monks, and seek to embrace more hedonistic lifestyles, causing a rift between the two groups. Finding themselves unwanted yet again, many of these disaffected tifelings have chosen to leave Tel Quessith for the cosmopolitan lifestyles in nearby Pereonopolis.
