A&P Wrist-Mounted Bolt Launcher
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Mounted to a custom-designed bracer with 3 material choices: Leather, Iron or Steel. The wrist-mounted bolt launcher locks into place and has an ammo capacity of 5 which wrap around the bracer and are forced into place by a strong spring each time a bolt is fired. Due to the intended sleek design, the bolts aren't very big and have limited range, but pack enough punch to penetrate light armor like leather and chainmail.
The bolt launcher section of the weapon uses the force of the string to hit a trigger at the front, launching an extremely high powered spring to send the launch mechanism back and locking in place to allow another bolt to be loaded, ready to fire again.
Due to the small nature of the weapon, all parts had to be custom made which meant sacrifices had to be made in order to function. A brand new model has a low chance of jamming which will only increase in chance the more it's used, extreme maintenance is required to keep the weapon functioning properly.
The user has the option of mounting the weapon to the top side or the bottom side of the bracer, allowing freedom of choice. The product also has support for mounting two bolt throwers to each mounting position if the user wishes to do so.
