Personal history

Shoji was born into a poor family and mistreated by her parents. She longed to have and serve a higher purpose. At a young age, she ran away from home and took shelter in a local church and the priests there raised her as their own. To no surprise, Shoji's parents never went looking for her.
During her teenage years, she learned about The Following of Oaris and the storm daughters. Shoji was immediately drawn to them and their order, she set off to The Storm Shrine to join the other followers.
After her initiation into the order, she and a few of the new members were orientated and met the present Daughter of The Storm Iori Isono. Shoji was assigned to serve under Iori and the 2 became friend as they were able to relate to each other due to their previous lives. Over the years of serving Iori, Shoji became best friends with her and was considered her right hand.
During the events of Zovim, Shoji, a few followers and some members from The Knowledge Guild including Lorarii Varus accompanied Iori to Mount Immolate, Lorarii Varus and 1 other member from the guild were the only ones to return.
