The Void

Created on a spiritual level during the formation of the world, The Void is a never-ending realm of darkness and torment. Normally whenever a person who did notable good things in their life would go to The Spirit World when they die, The Void is where all the other people who either didn't do anything noteworthy or upset the balance of the world get sent upon death.
Only one person has ever successfully traveled to The Void and back and survived the journey. They reported an almost identical landscape to that of the physical world, but shrouded and covered in shadows, with nightmarish creatures roaming the shadows
