Morilia
The Morilia is a race of druidic beings that are self-appointed guardians of the forests of the Kipales province. If not for the Empire they would be at war with the Shoqen. They would prefer to be under the umbrella of the Zrugozz instead.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Morilia are a race of tree like humanoids, if they want they can easily pass for a young sapling or a fruit tree. They are capable of rooting into the ground and being as unmoving as the forest around them as well. These roots however are not permanent and do not always exist.
Genetics and Reproduction
They, to a degree, are hermaphrodites. They reproduce much like the trees they resemble, and can pollinate and bud on their own.
Growth Rate & Stages
They are stationary and rooted in place for the first stage of their lives while they grow and develop. During this time they are cared for and protected by their parent.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They do not require food instead sustaining themselves on water and sunlight like most other plants. They do however enjoy tree based produce and honey on occasion.
Additional Information

This has led to them being particularly critical of the Shoqen at all times.
History
They are believed to have been born of the ancient tree that the Great Elder Abien calls home. It is also known that in old age they tend to return to the Niafothra forest where they become great trees and form partnerships with the Abien, serving as homes and aid to them.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
They are often highly regarded by other races, if only for being a thorn in the sides of the Shoqen, and treated with respect and a healthy amount of fear. The fear is a byproduct of their power over nature.
