Ohm, The Mother of Light, also known as the Allseeing, is worshiped all over Vash but mainly by those who live in Ohm's Veil. The suns are said to be her eyes, and one or more is usually present in the heavens. Ohm is a beneficent goddess, kind to her subjects and merciful to her enemies. In the beginning, Ohm and her brother's rule was a happy one. They took turns watching over the world at dawn and dusk, then retired to their respective domains, sharing rule of the sky equally. However, on each morning Ohm would see that her brother left the world darker and more corrupted. After each night, she would see the ruined mess his watch left. er and dark arcane arts. One night while Ohm's brother ruled the sky the world was rocked by the Ashkah Desolation. Hundreds of thousands died in the Desolation, all because her brother did nothing while those using dark magics tampered with powers they could not understand or hope to control. That morning as Ohm passed him at dusk She cut off her brother's head and hurled his body from the heavens. His corpse plummeted, tearing the land asunder and throwing all the world into chaos. The Ashkahi Empire in the east was completely destroyed and where her brother's body lay in the west, Ohm commanded her faithful to build a temple to her glory. That temple became a city, and that city, Yolis, became the new heart of her faith. But gods don't die so easily...
