Kothmar

Kothmar was once the capital of Valador. Two hundred years ago, a mysterious curse came over the place. It's people began dying, withering away, as if any food they ate gave no sustenance. No disease was ever found, and nobody outside the walls of Kothmar ever felt its effects. The best mages, clerics, and druids of Zagrean could never find a cause for the affliction, and those who fled the city still suffered its effect. Only those wealthy and powerful enough to have the curse cleansed from them survived. Eventually, Kothmar was abandoned, and a new capital was founded at Yhanvas.
