Northgate

Taking it's name from the northern-most gate of Zagrean, the Northgate district is a place of endless commerce. Merchant stalls line the streets, and the air is filled with the smells of ale, cooking food, pipesmoke, and the endless sound of trade, merchants and hawkers shouting prices and haggling with passers-by. Inns and Taverns are commonplace in northgate, but one will not find brothels there, as there are strict civil codes restricting thier placement. It somewhat rivals Hadren's Cross as the city's mercantile district, but the two have vastly different approaches.
