Obelisk

The Obelisk is an arcane encasement that houses the Tear. It was built centuries ago, and maintaining it is one of the greatest responsibilities of the Academy. It is a sixty-foot tall, jet black monument of dark stone, glass-smooth at a glance, although close inspection shows millions of tiny, intricate runes across its entire surface.
