Tallows Disctrict

Magic sometimes has waste. Arcane runoff, alchemical extacts, anything that is no longer used, is funned through a complex drain system, that ejects it on the other side of the wall, where it trickels down into a series of gutters that carry it away from the city, as dumping it in the ocean would worsent the Hungry Abyss. Some of these gutters of arcane runoff from the Tomes District have formed a second arcane district, one of uncontrolled and sometimes amoral experimentation. The arcene haze that envelops the district makes spells that detect magic unreliable at best, leading to a booming market of cheap, bootleg, or just plain fake magic items.
