Greenpass

This mountain pass is strategically located, with only two trails coming up from the valley floor far below. In times past it was a beautiful route taken by many from Talimot and the Elyswer alike. Though humans stopped taking that path long ago, and now all that journeys out and in are patrols and Glade Guardians. Shadows have crept down from the north, and undead creatures, and now the sides of the canyons are manned by guardians and scouts, watching for the undead that follow the dark clouds. 

Several skirmishes have been fought in recent years, though the darkness seems to have halted its advance, the world at the base of the valley almost directly split between green lush grasslands and dead earth. Both the defenders and attackers have taken notice of this and know it is the magic of the Obelisks of Khurilos that halt this advance. Dead eyes have turned to these magical barriers and clashes are coming more frequently, like the ripples before the stormwave. Whatever happens, these obelisks must not fall, for it will be catastrophic for the forest of The Elyswer.
