At the northern edge of the Elyswer sits Heartgrove Lake. It’s borders are dotted with great obelisks, inscribed with powerful runes of magic for a great spell was once wrought here to bless all the waters that flowed from lake into the Lenlin. A spell that persists until this day and one that holds great significance to the forest folk and for that reason, its perimeter is heavily monitored and any that come within sight of the waters are often killed on the spot.
Recent Development
Though as of late, undead from the north have been flocking southwards, to be slaughtered by the forces of the Elyswer upon the lake’s shores. Though none know for certain, many suspect the sudden aggression has to do with the stain of undeath creeping down from Drak’Naroth suddenly stopping twenty kilometers north of the lake. It is clear that whatever or whoever holds dominion in the Twisted Forest wants those obelisks shattered as their power seems to be holding their corruption at bay, for now.
