Lightwatch
On the edge of the shattered shelf with the Sabal'Har to its back one of the last great towers remains functional, Lightwatch. A sizeable city has grown around its base and the top holds massive enchanted discs of gold to guide great merchant ships and warships alike into its gigantic port. The dry heat of the desert winds collide with the cold magic infused winds from the maelstrom to create a wet oasis that attracts trade from all over Sabal and far flung continents. Though nothing grows upon the ground of the Sabal'Har, much grows in Lightwatch. The chilled weather and rain is perfect for crops and plants and the residents of Lightwatch have imported large quantities of soil to create massive open air greenhouses and layered gardens. The city's markets hold wonders from around the world, where one can find anything they desire if they only know who to ask. Its streets bustle with dozens of species plying their goods and behind the beautifully lacquered shopfronts and stalls lie the black market, where smugglers bring in artefacts, slaves and other rarities. Those that wander the streets of Lightwatch late at night are likely to find their way there, whether as a buyer or a commodity.
