Phragros
The Broken Lands
Can you imagine it? A whole continent worth of hidden history? I could scream. I won't, but I could.
Phragros is a continent in the northern hemisphere and the largest in the Known World of the five documented continents. Ice, mountains, fjords, lakes, volcanoes, forests, swamps, valleys, and hill-filled regions consist this continent. The word Phragros is believed to have come from an old Draconic phrase "weak isle". A native of Phragros is a Phragro, natives are Phragri.
Not much is known about the continent's history, except for the Breaking Vow, which is believed to have taken place circa 4,000 years ago and broken the continent in to the form it exists in today. What is also heavily agreed upon is that Phragros is the birth place of the Mortan language, as well as the primary place of the Lost Mortan Empire.

The Statis Fjords
Main article: to be added Reaching anywhere between a couple of hundred to over a thousand metres into the air, the Statis Fjords are aptly named after what is believed to be the Old Mortan word for tall, giant, or shapely. The depths of its waters go just as far, if not farther. Once a part of the Aspira (Old Mortan: aspiration or limit) Range, the Fjords now lay open to the skies instead thanks to the Broken Vow, the mysterious continent-shattering event. The event itself is believed by the Vidian Church to have been caused by the power and aid which Vid Themself gave to the Heroes which vanquished the legendary Dragon Lord. Unfortunately, no evidence remains of such divinely act nor of any other event and thus it remains a mystery even amongst the most faithful of scholars. The waters of the Fjords themselves are home to myths and legends, as well, as its dark depths remain unvisited by any humanoid hand or eye. Travelling scholars, from biologists to archeologists, have spoken of sighting a vast moving figures in the depths. Some, however, call these just tall tales, whilst members of the One True Pantheon's churches have accused travellers of illegal acts of divination, caused or assisted by the dwindling influence of the Dragon Lord. One of the few creatures of which there are multiple written accounts remains the Deep Echo or the Quake; a large and layered snake-like creature which causes slight vibrations within and around whichever area it passes, including the sides of the Fjords. Theoretically, it does so by scraping its natural body armor against the underwater sides of the Fjords.Xorto
Main article: XortoAt first glance, it might seem that nobody enters and nobody leaves. That glance might be all you need for this Dynasty.Xorto is an isolated empire and has been such since the fall of the Lost Mortan Empire, if not even during its reign. Whilst mostly isolated from other nations of the world, not only by distance but also by choice, it remains at the time in gentle contact with the nations of Miryegu and Cabascan. With others, the mysterious representatives of Xorto communicate only when necessary and are not keen on making first contact either. The Presiding of Xorto, its otherwise nameless leader, remains within the shadows and communicates only through other representatives.
