Askalda

Askalda is a continent in northwestern Verdun, located on the northern side of the The Scar. One of the most heavily-settled areas on the planet, Askalda possesses as many varied cultures and environments as any other continent in the world and an ancient history stretching back tens of thousands of years. Many great civilizations have prospered on Askalda, from the seafaring nobles in west who have tamed the savage waters of the White Sea, to the Dwarven citadels carved into the black mountains of Cairndubh, and even the great serpent kingdoms that rule the Sand Wastes in the heart of the land.
An inhabitant of Askalda is known as an Askaldi.
