Huskynn
Huskynn are large husky-like dogs that are bred by the Forstboren halfling clans of northern Askalda. When children of the Forstboren are born, they are matched with a huskynn pup who will be their lifetime companion. The huskynn are treated like full members of the family and are critical to the family's functioning. As the huskynn and child grow together, they develop a special bond and learn to ride and hunt together. Centuries of selective breeding have resulted in huskynn being larger than the average canine.
