Founding of Bekilk

Founding

The city of Bekilk was formally established, as well as the Osmad Sultanate.

After leaving their homeland and traveling south for months, vagrants from the former nation-state of Avylon arrived at the Dawnbreak Oasis in the center of the Osmad Desert. Led by Lord Cyrus Sahli and his close friend Saladin Al-Sharaf, the vagrants discovered the area was inhabited by a society of dragonborn dominated over by a tyrannical red dragon by the name of Rhenos. After a few months of inaction, the vagrants decided the dragon must be slain. Cyrus, Saladin, and their best fighters encouraged the dragonborn to rise up against their oppressor and together, they defeated Rhenos and his servants. Cyrus was severely injured in battle, and later succumbed to his wounds and perished, leaving Saladin Al-Sharaf to carry his legacy as a new nation was born.
