Centuries ago during a very dark age, the races fought each other almost to extinction using primitive, yet deadly forms of magical weapons. On the verge of ending existence entirely, seven warriors, one each from the major races came together and found a way to create peace. A merging of all the magical powers into a great reserve for all those to draw on equally allowing all living beings to share in the prosperity of the world. Magic, the giver of life and prosperity for all the races became the savior of the world. The savior of existence.
