The SaltCoast Massacre

The sacking of Swil Port by the Avalonian rebels followed by the complete destruction of the Salt Coast, thereafter known as The Blood Coast.

The Salt Coast, a salt mining area of Avalonia became known as the Blood Coast in 12-505 when the Avalonian people self-organized a small strike force and attacked Swil Port. They succeeded and held the port for 3 nights, raping and plundering the city until the King of Valencia was able to receive word from the Avalonian hierarchy that they did not endorse the attack. The dragon rider's were sent to enact vengeance, but instead of retaking SwilPort, they rode for the Salt Coast and over the course of one night, which became known as the SaltCoast Massacre, burned everything and everyone they found to the ground. Those who returned from SwilPort after news of the events were brought back to the Avalonian capital and enslaved or executed for attempting to incite war.
