The Explorer's Guild
Explorer's Guild Members are, broadly, tasked with the protection of Mariapool from external threats, the securing of goods and resources the town needs, and exploring the new world Mariapool finds itself in. Practically, this means that members might find themselves negotiating trade deals one day and battling trolls the next. There are few requirements for joining the guild, though all recruits understand that it is difficult and dangerous work that will require working with a constantly evolving team. Indeed, the guild rarely sends a group with the same members out twice. So, don't get too comfortable working with that wizard, they likely won't be with you for very long.
