Upon entering the academy, students and visitors will find pathways lined with subtle lighting and sensors guiding students to their destinations. The pathways winding through campus in intricate patterns, leading to hidden courtyards and gardens. Digital boards throughout the campus provide real-time information while taking up minimal space. Access and Security

Vikan Academy employs a sophisticated access control system, issuing ID cards or visitor badges to everyone on campus. Each card or badge contains an embedded tracker for comprehensive monitoring within the campus boundaries.

Visitor Badges

Visitors, including prospective students, parents, and guardians, are issued badges in exchange for surrendering their personal electronics during their visit. These badges display the school emblem and grant limited access to specific areas:

Faculty and Staff ID Cards

Faculty and staff are provided with photo ID cards, granting access to a broad range of facilities and amenities:

• Year-Round Access: Private banking accounts, health data, handbooks, staff housing, on-campus technology facilities, research labs, and discounts at affiliated venues.

Upon resignation, termination, or retirement, faculty and staff must surrender their ID cards before leaving the premises.

Student ID Cards

Students receive photo ID cards that regulate access to facilities based on their academic rank. Access and privileges are contingent upon their standing within the academy and are revoked upon expulsion, transfer, or graduation.

• Semester-Only Access: Private banking accounts, handbooks, textbooks, class schedules, dormitory housing, technology facilities, research labs, and the 1st-floor cafeteria.
• Top 50 Students: Access to the 2nd-floor cafeteria, private study rooms, special prep classes, tutoring, and a designated parking area.
• Year-Round Access: Health data, class schedule catalogs, off-campus memberships to resorts and spas, and varying discounts based on student rank.

Building Hours and Campus Tours

• Classroom Building Hours: Faculty have access to classroom buildings from 6:30 AM. During summer, buildings close at 8:00 PM, and in winter, they close at 6:00 PM.
• Campus Tours: Tours are available only to prospective students via scheduled appointments or during controlled public events. Virtual tours are accessible anytime. Parents and outside visitors are generally prohibited from roaming the campus without prior notice and an escort. Violations result in escalating consequences, including warnings, restricted visitation rights, and potential bans.
