The Kingdom of Kalawyn was not growing as quickly as Shayroth would have liked. While a pacifist herself, her advisors convinced her to send her people to war in order to seize some of Jasith, the Wyrmhearted's wealth.

The Kingdom of Kalawyn was not growing as quickly as Shayroth would have liked. While a pacifist herself, her advisors convinced her to send her people to war in order to seize some of Jasith, the Wyrmhearted's wealth.   During this war, 40,000 lives were lost in total. Avin, the Guardian and the kingdom of Sheylantiir assisted both Diostrath and Kalawyn at seperate points of the conflict.   It wasn't until the Fellowship of the Dragon's Embrace facilitated a peace treaty that the war ended.
