Dragonborn look very much like dragons, though they lack wings or a tail. They are tall and strongly built, often standing close to 6½ feet tall and weighing 300 pounds or more. Their hands and feet are smiting, talonlike claws with three fingers and a thumb on each hand. Dragonborn with chromatic ancestry claim the raw elemental power of chromatic dragons. The vibrant colors of black, blue, green, red, and white dragons gleam in those dragonborn's scaled skin and in the deadly energy of their breath weapons. Ancient Dragonborn were born from The Original Great Dragons of Tiamat, who were created by Tiamat. Tiamat granted these Dragonborn with knowledge and the ability to learn. Dragonborn lay eggs in clutches of five to ten. They hatch after 6 months. Around one year after hatching they can walk and talk. Once a dragonborn reaches fifteen they are considered an adult, this is the only birthday they celebrate. At the age of seventeen female dragonborn can lay eggs. Dragonborn can lay an egg three to four days after being fertilized.
