Dragonmark

Dragonmarks are elaborate skin patterns, similar to tattoos, that grant their bearers innate spellcasting abilities. They started appearing randomly on people after the death of Aurgloroasa, the goddess of planar dragons, on the 3rd of Untamin, 2303 8th Age; ever since people have occasionally been born with these marks. Sometimes they still do randomly appear on beings, even constructs or undead.
