Ancient Lizardfolk were created by magic mutating Lizards into monsters, but the Goddess Beory gave them wisdom and the intelligence to speak. Lizardfolk lay eggs in clutches of up to twenty. They hatch after three months. After six months of hatching lizardfolk can walk and after one year they can talk. They don't celebrate birthdays. At age five they are considered old enough to start training or studying. Once they reach fourteen, they are considered adults, they can choose what they want to pursue in life. Female lizardfolk at this age can start laying eggs. Lizardfolk can lay an egg three to four days after being fertilized. Once a lizardfolk reaches forty they are considered an elder lizardfolk.
